Well shit. I doubt anything like war will happen, but the cringe in media will be deathly overdose.

While the AP reported that Russian missiles had crossed into Poland, citing an unnamed “senior US intelligence official,” the Pentagon declined to corroborate the claim.

Lmao this is the same tactics Poland uses for decades, hide behind the big brother (USA, NATO, EU, depends on what’s happening) and justify every shit with it, even when big brother denies.

Officials from the Baltic states blamed Russia and claimed that Poland should invoke NATO’s Article 5 in retaliation. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky accused Russia of “terrorism” and said NATO needed to “act” against this “attack on collective security.”

Baltics more bloodthirsty than even ukronazis, why i’m not surprised.

Don’t be surprised if Ukraine did this to try and get NATO to join in. I mean, they do have a lot of nazis who wouldn’t bat an eye killing civilians.

who wouldn’t bat an eye killing civilians.

UAF lobbed a missile at Shebekino (Belgorod region), killing two and wounding three pretty much at the same time this “attack” on Poland happened. They are already “not batting an eye”, with a complete silence from the oh-so-free western press.

You know, misfires in warfare happen all the time and this is a horrible tragedy regardless. But I gotta say, I didn’t suspect foul play until Zelensky got on the horn within an hour and said that “we” need to respond to this “escalation” and attack Russia. Now I’m not too certain what the hell is going on.

They were S300 missles. The only way that Russia could have done this is if they raided a museum, shipped the missles hundreds of miles behind the front lines to shoot at a non-military target in Poland of all places, in a spot less than 70 miles from the Ukrainian border, very coincidentally on this day, the largest Russian missle attack on Ukraine to date (100+ missles according to Ukrainian sources). It probably wasn’t a false flag attack either tho, and therefore both the Ukrainians and Poles probably genuinely think it was Russia

This is literally Kramatorsk all over again, I expect the story to die down once it becomes clear that this was a Ukrainian munition.

Certain modifications of S-300 are in active service, but short version is that using them to hit ground targets is…WHY?

Blaming faulty old Ukrainian S-300 rockets fucking up some poor residential building on evil Russians who don’t have any cruise missiles left (~100 launched today were the last ones, trust me) and resort to this is a routine for Ukrainian propaganda at this point.

I thought S300s were still being fielded by both Russia and Ukraine? I’ve heard it reported that repurposed ones were used as ordinance in Kharkiv.

I really hope cooler heads can prevail right now. Everyone is screaming Russia already, despite the Pentagon being clueless. If it is Russia, I really hope people can remain calm. If it’s not Russia, I hope the truth can come out before it’s too late.

    Man this sucks.

Lowliest of USA vassals (Baltic shits) started screaming “RUSSIA” right away.

Right now Duda says “lolwedon’tknow who’s missiles these are”. Because you can’t blame Ukraine even is you know it fucked up. Especially when you know it fucked up. But blaming your hypertension morning nose bleed on Russia is a must.

Absolutely. I was convinced that Russia had accidentally bombed the area. Now I’m left questioning whether there was even an explosion when the sources are Polish German ultranationalists and even the U.S. is distancing itself from the claims. The information war seems to be getting too out of control even for the head imperialists.

Zelensky’s boys shot a missile into Poland, either deliberately or not (considering where it landed who can say) then he lied about it and said that we all need to enter the war and attack Russia. His credibility is in the toilet with anyone actually paying attention.

Polish news publication Lublin112 says there are no Russian Armed Forces markings on the missiles that hit Poland. High chance that this was a misfired Ukrainian anti-air missile.

Absolutely tragic loss of life. I’m sorry for the victims and their loved ones.

It’s unconfirmed that the missile belongs to Russia. If the missile is an S300, it’s likely Ukraine’s air defense missile, a misfire.

The S300 has a range of 150km, way too far for Russian defense systems to have hit Poland.

It’s possible that the missile misfired while trying to destroy a Russian missile targeted in the Lviv direction (it landed 70km from Lviv).

Open Source Intel Twitter also thinks it’s Ukrainian misfire: https://twitter.com/Osinttechnical/status/1592603808634638336?s=20&t=hFJzsIbIDipsSANQ0FvtDQ

The attacked country has to decide if it wants to invoke Article 5, so if it was Ukraine then nothing will happen most likely. But if said country does invoke the article, the rest are automatically drawn in, no matter how unpopular the decision or conflict is.

That’s not even true. Article 5 is not a button that any NATO country can just push and guarantee that the rest of NATO comes to their aid. The article itself only calls for consultation but even if it did say “immediately go to war” it would still not happen automatically like liberals think, actions like declarations of war are at the end of the day still political decisions. International treaties are not computer programs that just execute when conditions are met. They have to be implemented by humans, those currently in power. Countries can still just say no. The US for instance breaks its treaties all the time. The reason why countries go to war is because their ruling elites want to, not because of some piece of paper. If they decide it’s not worth it politically or economically for the elite then they won’t do it. Now this is of course different when countries are vassals and their ruling elites are compradors completely subjugated to an imperial power, so it is very likely that the US could force a good deal of NATO to join a war against their will (though they’d have a hard time with the more independent minded like Turkey), but that’s just cause Europe has no independence and its rulers are in Washington’s pocket.

It is. But every western leader is already tweeting about Russia. Russia has already done it for the majority of people it seems. And NATO is talking as we speak. The same NATO with the people already blaming Russia.

Much like Nordstream 2, everyone knew within moments that this totally Russia’s fault and all opinions to the contrary is a conspiracy theory.

      • Of course, I just figured there’s no reason for us to repeat their allegations as if they’re true (mainly for those who go to the article without looking at the comments here)

German rag Focus initially uncritically reported the missile being Russian.

Instead of writing a proper retraction they just published an update blaming the spokeswoman for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for making a supposedly insensitive joke about the situation on telegram, which AS A SIDENOTE states that the missile wasn’t Russian after all.

we’re all going to die lol
