They haven’t been to the US, obviously. We made bribing public officials in unlimited amounts legal. Our politicians are doing insider trading all the time. We make jokes about our politicians wearing the logos of the companies that have bought their votes. We know and accept all these things as a normal part of our country’s politics.
My realization of how deep Sinophobia and Anti-Asian racism runs in Western society is literally how I became a ‘tAnKiE’… Because MLs (and, to their credit, some adjacent leftists) are literally one of the few people who’s truly has my back… Liberals may act like they denounce racism on the surface, but they’ll also support rhetoric or stereotypes that are harmful to us. I recommend just having as few accounts as possible, and typically only staying logged in while it’s necessary (i.e. by deleting cookies when you’re done), and using Tor in situations where it’s important to hide your identity. (There’s a lot more to think about, but it’s a good start)

This idea that Asians are obsessed with success in school and success in intellectual projects or whatever is so uniquely American. It’s in lockstep with fascists trying to claim the asian race is of a higher caliber because of American IQ statistics that don’t account for you know, Asians that live in Asia. Could it be that this cultural phenomenon might be the result of a very long lasting policy in the US that prevented poorer Asians from entering and becoming citizens in the country, and only limiting Asian professionals and wealthy families to come in? No, it must be that Asians are genetically more intelligent, or culturally more focused on intellectual pursuits.
