No, their entire state should be dissolved instead and all their economy reabsorbed into all Commonwealth nations.

I mean if we start with just cleaning out their banks of the dirty money stashed by oligarchs and dictators there, that would work wonders for nations like ours

I think any socialist revolution in Western Europe would necessarily have to redistribute wealth not only to its own proletariat, but to the proletariat of the places they colonized.

The assumption that a Slavoj Zizek is the same as a Vladimir Lenin, is incorrect. Anglo socialists are a lot more fallible and less strict about good morals than non Anglo/anti imperialist country ones.

Okay greater question, if places like the UK are just rentier states, where the hell does all the wealth go after a revolution? How is that determined in the first place?

Im not too well versed on economics, so can someone explain?

That wealth is basically all located overseas and in various financial bubbles. After revolution plow through financial system most of it will disappear because it don’t exist in reality in the first place.

        Okay thats what I thought.

While reparations will still be in order, the lack of Imperial hijacking will be a huge relief in itself. I also assume reparations will be a gradual process, building up over time in investment.

They can’t even afford to keep their lights on. The real answer is that the UK won’t pay reparations. Even if it would, the UK couldn’t afford to pay half of whats owed.

Can’t we just drag the filthy rich beneficiaries of it kicking and screaming to the Hague?
