Definitely, I find just being friendly and engaging goes a long way to making new connections with people. Making friends is more difficult as an adult but at least we can have more choice over who we pick as friends.

Living in an unheated appartment in Belgium already made me feel really bad for the people living in Ukraine. It’s even colder there. Like, I hope Ukraine gets defeated and all that but I also hope these people find the help and care they need. It’s not human to let people suffer so much.

What gas? Russian gas that’s getting pumped through Ukraine is getting sold to Europe. Yes, all this time gas has been flowing from Russia to western Europe through the Ukrainian pipeline. And it’s not just heating. Water pumps, sewage system, telecommunications, etc.
