Who cares. I graduated summa cum laude (loud cumming lol) from undergrad yet most of what I learned I forgot because my mind is a sieve. Take it from someone who got good grades and yet is mouthbreathing dumb fuck who doesn’t know anything about anything: good grades are only good for impressing potential employers. That’s it. They’re worthless otherwise.

I was so mentally ill but I managed to finish high school. I was a Bs student by the power of god. Many times I missed exams cause severe anxiety, I wish the school had given me some accessibility.
I got a university scholarship to study History but turned it down because I don’t want to be unemployed

For me, I don’t even think I’d even want to be friends with hardly anyone I knew from school looking at them now. School sports are largely tainted with chauvinistic bullshit, accolades are just meaningless pats on the back you forget about once you earn them and learning an instrument is something that is never too late to do. As long you didn’t make any choices that messed you majorly for the rest of you life like getting an STD or a drug addiction there really isn’t much you should regret about from school.
it’s all part of the process of navigating shitty school systems tbh. there are fuckin hundreds of thousands of 18-year-olds that go into college not knowing a lot, or what they’re getting into, or what they want to study or do with their lives. no need to regret, just take the important things as lessons learned and move forward the best you can.
I dropped out when I was young. But I still have it in my mind that I might travel and try to get a chemical degree in a country I respect like China.

I fluctuated a lot. I never had any problem with learning and getting good grades but I found out pretty early that I could do the bare minimum, get 6/10 and pass. So that’s what I did. I had periods early on in high school where I grinded hard and got straight 10/10s. My English teacher saw I was bored a lot and send me to Cambridge University to take their English course, which I passed and which left me with a Cambridge degree.
I’m not brilliant or anything but I could do anything if I wanted to. But laziness, a period of hard crime in my teens and mental health issues later on prevented me from doing my best.
College was not that much better, dropped out a few times, graduated for some. Eventually I ended up in a job requiring a higher degree than I currently have. I’m currently following a new degree in social work while also working as a social worker.
Overall I did pretty good but I never was a school person I guess. Which is fine. I turned out fine. Some people just don’t benefit from our education oriented society. I always felt happier working.
I left early. Unfortunately, school caused my mental health to plummet, and I was in a really, really bad state. I couldn’t do anything, regardless of how much I liked it before. When I left, I had an F in all classes except for Computer Science (I am a software engineer and had a very large buffer from when I actually could do the work). Two of my classes were below 20%. Before all of that, I didn’t do perfectly, but not horribly. I would get mostly As and Bs with the occasional C in things that were really boring and I couldn’t concentrate on if my life depended on it.

I did well despite never studying and not doing homework half of the time, for whatever doing well in American public schools counts for. I got distinguished scores in Science and History while being ok/decent in Math and weakest with Language Arts.
