I’m reminded of this image everytime some idiot goes “buh buh muh Soviet evil totalitarian redfash”.

Imagine being that kind of person. Would you genuinely go up to a Soviet war veteran and tell them “You’re literally worse than Hitler!,” after so many of their comrades died fighting the Nazis?

You think they wouldn’t? I remember how Ukrainian nazis humiliated veterans in public by throwing paint on them and telling them to sit in homes if they don’t want problems.

Nazis are the worst of human beings. The definition of waste of air.

On the other hand, there was a video in the internet where a real deal banderist veteran literally dies during his speech on their fash rally and it was awesome, but i can’t find it now because of how internet was flooded with propaganda recently.

I suspect many of those gits would. Now that said veterans are old and can’t punch their jaws out in response.

Had a chat with one of the guys just yesterday, I even said him how the hell can you say those things about people who liberated you(I have no idea from where he is from, probably yankee), what would my great grandfather who fought in National Liberation think ,or my great grandmother who cried while she hugged Red Army soldier and said to him to thank Zhukov and Comrade Stalin from her. And he just kept with USSR bad, USSR bad, USSR bad shit…

libs say this shows Soviets “didn’t care about their people”. They basically let Soviets fight all the hard battles and then waltz in at the last moment only to capture war spoils and now they portray their small number of deaths as a positive. Truly disgusting. Every time I talk with a lib I get more and more disgusted by them.

Light blue bars are especially telling.

Also separetely counting Lithuania and especially Latvia as “allied” is not only extremally generous in the face of widespread collaboration but also they should be counted under USSR if Belarus (highest % of population loss) was too. Also a lot of that light blue bar in case of those two countries were Jews.

Incredible how romania and hungary where more usefull then italy.

And the bri ish and the yankees where completelly untouched by the war, thats probably why they have no compassion for countrys that actually suffered during the war.

WW2 was the eastern front. In the west nothing happened. French were basically fine with being Nazis, no problem. America basically liked Nazism and only disliked Hitler because he lost.

Nooo you see Soviets made a strategic non-aggression pact with Nazis instead of immediately going to war with them, this means they were forever allies and basically Nazis themselves! Please ignore

      • 1933 - UK, France, Italy - the four powers pact
      • 1934 - Poland - Hitler - Pilsudski pact
      • 1935 - UK - Anglo-German Naval Agreement
      • 1936 - Japan - Anti-Comintern Pact
      • 1938 September - UK - German-British non aggression Pact
      • 1938 December - France - German-French non-aggression Pact
      • 1939 March - Romania German-Romanian Economical Treaty
      • 1939 March - Lithuania - non-aggression Pact
      • 1939 May - Italy - Pact of Steel (Friendship and Alliance)
      • 1939 May - Denmark - non-aggression Pact

To hijack this thread with a question. I have heard explanation on how Munich was attempt to make Hitler go East and crush the USSR. But how does that account for the fact that when Hitler indeed went East the French and Britons declared war on Germany?

They did almost nothing for 8 months except some proxy fighting. Also, they planned to actually attack… USSR, in june or july 1940. They even started force relocation for this, but were thwarted when Germany attacked France. Read about Operation Pike, even on wiki.

Stalin made non-aggression pack with Hitler to buy time for Russian military production under the Russian semi-industrialized economy. The non-aggression pack shows that Western European empires cannot force Soviet Union to bear all the war efforts so they end the free riding and follow Stalin to stop Fascism.

Noooo our wholesome American politicians didn’t say the bad words that TV man said Putin said! This makes our mass murders of brown people fine!

Yes a comment there literally said that. It has 18 upvotes as of now.

There was a post about this incident over on r/de. The comments compared Putin with Hitler because “Putin’s methods are almost indistinguishable from Hitler’s.” I hate Germans so much.

Those comments really paint the picture that the vast majority of Redditors are children, or think like it anyway. So many terrible jokes.
