It has to be manual because it’s random times and not on every post. It’ll be like, they log on and downvotes everything they see for a while then log off and any comment made after that won’t get downvoted. I feel a bot would be more uniform.

I’m not sure how it’s implemented. They need to somehow ensure that an account doesn’t vote multiple times on a post/comment, but there might be some public-key encryption involved
