This is what Ukraine is suffering and losing their country for. So some westoid can do corny shit like this and get upvotes.congrats, hope you can rebuild your country and repay IMF loans with reddit upvotes.
Have you seen the “ghost of Kiev” memes? Or “St javelin” memes? Or the endless stream of “Russian ship fuck off”? Hell, I’ve seen grown up people call soldiers being killed by artillery and the like “getting dabbed on”.
Yep seen them all. All of this has the same energy as the settlers that pay to watch IDF snipe Palestinians from a distance. They enjoy war, especially one where the suffering is so distant. There is no saving western libs, their interests and hegemony, even reddit upvotes, are more important than stopping a war.
especially one where the suffering is so distant
This, I think, is the key element here
Westoids paying money to write messages on artillery shells as well, they’re treating it like a game and cheering on a sports team
Shit’s disgusting
It’s all fun and games until it’s your ass on the line. If they announce the US is going boots-on-the-ground into Ukraine tomorrow, I guarantee this shit will just stop. NAFO and whatever General they wheel out of the Pentagon won’t be able to talk the average American into dying for a country they don’t actually care for.
Stained glass making has loooooong tradition of utter cringe, but at least whatwever they made in churches looks way better.
There was some pretty based stained glass murals in USSR at least. As a pure art form I think it’s pretty neat.
Yeah because potentially it looks gorgeous, but was unfortunately 90%+ a medium for superstition and automatically have such connotations nowadays.
Fucking power hungry assholes have to ruin all the best shit. Whether they be Capitalists, monarchists, “the church”, etc. It’s always up to the socialists to take those things back for the people.
Also stained glass Lenin is fire
Anything related to catholicism has loooooong tradition of utter cringe
Including the one who downvoted you.
Mexican here, cringe is putting it lightly
Something always seemed funny to me about the Ukranian flag. It gives me the impression someone just searched online for contrasting colors, put together the two most cliche ones available, and went “yup, this is our flag”.
In their defence, it’s the earth and the sky. Yellow for the extremely fertile wheat fields grown on black earth soil and blue for the sky overhead. It’s fitting, but it’s ultimately taken on a reactionary connotation from this fucking war.
Contrast this with their black and red, which is essentially the flag of the mask off Ukronazi. It takes the sky and earth concept and twists it into your typical nazi shit; blood and soil.
Blue and yellow are also classic complementary colors which look really nice together. A lot of things are blue and yellow because it’s pleasing to the eye so I really hate that such a nice color combo has been taken over by fascism because now if you use it even half prominently in your designs post 2022, people are going to think you’re one of those people.
Fuck man one of my long time original characters uses that color combo!
Those are jeans soaking downwards with piss.
I always saw the blue and yellow as a beach tbh, yellow for the sand and blue for the sky.
That’s one way of wasting time
In the amount of time it took for the guy to make that, at least 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers died
We sent them some nice Christmas gifts this year because Zelenskyy refused a Christmas ceasefire
Ukraine is gonna have to change their flag cause this blue and yellow shit is so triggering to me now, I can’t look at this without immediately thinking of Nazis
Hopefully this or just the flags of each independent region. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_the_Ukrainian_Soviet_Socialist_Republic I dont actually mind the blue and golden yellow tbh, provided there aren’t nazis with power to do anything except wave the flags
you just need be creative: add a shield with a bird, and you can say that is the flag of opole, poland
Or turn it upside down and it will be a flag of Upper Silesia region, also in Poland (btw completely related to Opole, since it was historically one region with duchy capital in Opole).
r/pics is propaganda central. Literally every day the top post is whatever supports the current narrative.
r/memes also just with well, memes.
On a scale of 1-10, how artsy are you? I’m trying to network and find comrades who can produce dazzling and provocative political art at a fairly negotiated price :)
7 or 8, I draw a lot
Mind dming me a portfolio?
