Like hes recently stated that “tankie is just a buzzword used by liberals” and also made a based video debunking the Holodomor and exposing the double genocide theory, but then he still makes trash like this. “Grover Furr is basically a stalinist holocaust denier” “Hes not taken seriously by anyone [meaning liberal academia]” “Only 14 year old Twitter stalinists read him”. “Hes not a serious historian” No analysis of his books, no evidence, no arguments, just the good ol “if liberal academia doesnt approve what you say then its wrong” spiced up with some double genocide bs (“stalinist denial=holocaust denial”). Like literally, Furr cites the same “respectable historians” BE cited in his Holodomor video and arrives pretty much at the same conclusion about the Holodomor, that it wasnt a genocide nor man made (as in intentionally made). And yet, somehow, Grover Furr is a “stalinist holocaust denier”. How can you be this stupid? I dont understand, please help.
I always hate how he sometimes ends an argument/video by also adding that China/Russia is Imperialist too. Like, he lists gazillion points of how the USA lies/does crime and analysis each one and ends it by saying “China/Russia bad” without any actual reason given.
It’s like he feels the need to counter anything seriously based he’s saying with some hollow both-sideism to appear as the “balanced, rational one unlike the others”.

Always found it to be dubious because it assumes communists are a monolith instead of a broad discourse that involves people with varying experiences and levels of education and even differing class character. Sometimes people are wrong or otherwise liberal or essentialist but yet not cops.

Not necessarily permanent, but very, very hard to get rid of. It is ingrained from birth, and schools try their best to condition you not to question anything. I’m lucky enough to have noticed and resisted the conditioning, but had to pay the price of being extremely stressed in school, which led to burnout and a low GPA, which has repercussions in the future.
They will try as hard as they can to indoctrinate you, and if they can’t, they make sure to make your life as difficult as possible.
Then, there’s the fact that they teach everyone that people who don’t agree with the propaganda are evil fascists who want to destroy freedom and democracy, which means that if you reject the propaganda, you get vilified for it. Therefore, the more social a person is, the less likely they will be to reject the propaganda, and a lot of them will be in denial of the truth because they don’t want to lose relationships over it.
It’s truly an evil, despicable system that needs to be abolished.
