This set contains all 50 hardback volumes of the Collected Works.
I enjoy reading but 50 hardback volumes sounds like my worst nightmare
It contains literally everything they have ever written, including poems and letters – all the letters (that still exist).

I have a question if you don’t mind, what is the difference between the MECW and the Marx Engels Gesamtausgabe (MEGA)?
Well, aside from the language difference, they would be two different editions (which is also why the mecw is subject to copyright still). This means the selection of works as well as their order will be different.
Apparently the mega might contain previously unpublished letters, but from what I understand the second edition is not finished yet.

You used to be able to download a pdf of the articles. The last time I needed to read something from there I had to take a scrolling screenshot.
