    During WW2 the high soviet casualties were a result of the Axis killing POWs and killing civilians en masse on one side, on the other side was the situation from 1942 onwards. The Red Army was pushing the Axis back, which meant the latter fought from defensive positions while the former did not. Attacking always results in higher casualties in a fight of roughly equal forces.

    People love to forget that Germany went into that war with the intended goal of reducing the soviet population by about 30 million. Casualties of the USSR, both civilian and army, ended up between 23 million(lowest estimate) and 40 million(highest estimate), thus the Nazi fucks achieved their blood toll.

    Meanwhile the western allies were chummy with the Nazis, with massacres of their populations being rare occurances.

    One side received the full brunt of the Axis warmachine and savage ideology, the other was toched with kiddy gloves.

    This piece of human waste has the audacity to disrespect the 27 MILLION people that died? What kind of disrespectful, ungrateful, arrogant imbecile must this person be to think that’s a good thing to do?       They’re westerners, and a lot of those were civilians that were genocided. Like several soviet POWs. The reason germany has less is because soviets had a soul and didn’t kill the ones they captured.

      I got so mad I couldn’t even approach the post (for now). But needless to say, if this were face-to-face…

    The mods and admins have done pretty well so far in kicking out the obvious trolls but we often get these ones falling through the cracks.

    There was one last week being triggered that the UK was hated because surely such an imperialistic island with an “illustrious” history should be immune from criticism because we’re “not from there” lol.

This dude goes into absolute delusions about ukrainians having such good super soldiers worth 10 russian ones even though only 150k troops are pushing into Ukraine right now. The dude just went mask off and started slamming the people who died in world war two, which is kinda funny when you realize many of those millions were also Ukrainians who fought the nazis…

            No, Belarus is currently probably most democratic country in Europe, they just elect people who are antiimperialist. It being dictatorship is western and especially polish propaganda, if you remember they had a US-polish coup attempt just last year and as such there was loud about them as usual about everyone who is targeted by imperialism. It is also one of the most peaceful countries, so the “military” part is not true too.
