How come people doing so good with stable diffusion while i can’t even get decent Stalin pic for a long time and Lenin never.

A lot of them, still have some unposted for a rainy days of shitpost deficit, but it was pretty long ago, and most of them was not that great, while some of those i had to look few times to notice it was AI. And i never ever get a proper Lenin from no AI, best one is that one where his face is not visible, but you can still clearly say “Lenin”:

Also i guess a lot of Lenin materials online are soviet posters so the algorithm get influenced by that. I’m still wondering how Lenin on all Ai pictures (not only in Stable Diffusion) looks not very like basically every single Lenin photo and painting out there.

If you are using midjourney, check which version you are using in settings. Alternatively, add – v4 or – v5 at the end of the prompt
It’s stable diffusion 2.1 like in the OP, midjourney looks way better but the free version is very restricted and i’m not very cool with registering there.

What stable diffusion “branch” do u use?
Most of pics were taken in v1, though i noticed current v1 version is worse than it was, i need many more tries to get something satisfactory. I also use v2.1 like in OP, but it’s worse than old v1 in getting Stalin look like Stalin, though it’s better overally with other things.
Sometimes it does hit hard though:
It’s either to make a jab at China supposedly being anti-LGBTQ+, or they’re homophobic and sinophobic so this is their way of making fun of Xi Jingping. Or probably a mix of both which seems more likely.
Open for interpretation as long as they get the upvotes.
