My entire life is revolving around antifa and communist activism and stuff. I wonder if I ever get back to a normal life.

What is a normal life? Going to work for some faceless corporation and going home only for sleep and spending weekends consuming products?

Very good question. I think normal life eventually would be a life under socialism/communism, where everyone can live a fair life.

Current normal life like you described is not normal.

Agreed. And sadly we can’t count on socialism to come about by itself. Take pride in your work, comrade, for I take pride in you

For some reason I also keep going upwards in the party line without doing monumental thing aside from just existing in the party and their actions. I’m now considered as head of the new Youth Chapter they are looking to implement around here. And to think I said I don’t want to become a politician or something.

    Watch me become chairman somehow.

At my work everyone could add some numbers to a communal playlist to listen to during working hours. To my surprise I wasn’t the only one to add tankie tunes to the list. Partizan songs, Irish songs, songs about Che all did the rounds today.

    Feels good.

apologies for the late thread, we at the GenZedong Moderation Team™ had incredibly intense discussions about the image for this week and we completely lost track of time

Sounds harsh. Are there any orgs that could help?

I am helping him through dative law, the problem is that the judge gave me less than 24 hours to prepare for the case, even though I ask it to change the date I will have to claim this on appeal

There’s a nationwide strike here on November 9th, with our union willing to go on longer.

I asked my employer if there are any rules regarding the strike and if I had to file form or something.

His reply: no, we don’t do the strike at our company.

Buddy, do you know what the point of a strike is 😭

It’s not even as if I am part of a small local union. Our union has 1.5 million members, most of which will join the strike. Combined with other unions with equal amounts of members. What the fuck are you going to do lmoa

Well, the protest went well. There was some rumbling at the start of the wankers speech but that’s about it. We kept it peaceful this time.

About 30 people showed up for his speech. Around 200+ for our antifascist action. There were many speakers, from union reps to resistance fighters to org reps. It’s good to see that we’re able to organize this many people in two days.

Our fight is far from over. It’s probably just starting. But as long as we stick together and raise our fist, we will be able to win this. Una mattina…

Student protests erupted in the city because of budget cuts to the cultural section. They’re protesting on a big square for days now and the cultural minister refuses to talk.

    Literally a tinymen square moment

European student protests, classic. Hopefully this time the results will be better than the wackiness of 1968

They’re still going strong and will protest weekly now. It’s been going on for some time now but they still manage to be there with several hundreds of people. Mad respect to our arts students.
