Soon, nazism, segregation, discrimination and other right wing nonsense will be straight up normalised like it’s no big deal.

Poland is already fascist. There’s not much state violence happening because there is literally no real opposition. but we’re already years past after a obvious series of political murders and just look what happened when some Iraqi refugees wanted to cross the border from Belarus.

And this is even before we take the Ukraine war and all its consequences into consideration.

In Poland, but i where i live there is not much change except costs of living galloping up, if you go to cities you can see very many Ukrainians (or rather hear since they do not look any different than Poles) and tons of UA flags, expositions and signs in Ukrainian - almost all of them are put by govt and local administration though.

even one west asian or brown person gets to poland: POLAND IS BEING ISLAMIFIED! POLAND IS GOING TO BECOME AN ARAB COUNTRY LIKE SWEDEN FILLED WITH GROOMING, SA GANGS AND NO-GO ZONES! QUICK! SPRAY THEM WITH THE FIREHOSE WHILE IT’S FREEZING TEMPERATURE OUTSIDE SO VERMINS LIKE THEM CAN’T GET IN!

hundreds of thousands of ukrainians get in and the government places lots and lots of ukraine flags and pretty much adopts ukrainian as its second language at this point: crickets.wav

And it’s millions of Ukrainians by now. Even before the war there were 2-3 millions.

It’s flabbergasting how Poland has become a White Ethnostate overnight. Why the hell aren’t the Usonian Far-Reichers flocking over to Poland already? It’s literally the dreamland they’ve got but in real life!

And yeah, I’ve noticed. Apparently the top minds of r/Poland accused Lukashenko of “flooding the Polish border with migrants”. 🙄🙄🙄 And because this is reddit, the comments were all calling for the murder of said migrants; and anyone as much as dare speaking against it would just get mass-downvoted and called a russian bot.

It’s just hard not to laugh at this kind of surreal idiocy (if not lunacy) at this point.

They didn’t even invented that, they just heard it in the TV, they just filled in the blanks with racist vocabulary and murder threats because those couldn’t be exactly said open in TV just yet, but the blank spaces were clearly there.

Please don’t fantasize about the world reverting to 1940 European fascism. The world has moved on. Fascism is operating at a larger scale now. Death isn’t industrialized, it’s ambient. Segregation is both ghettoized and international. The borders are permeable to maintain discipline of the whites. The panopticon is completed. We don’t need secret police and informants because monitoring is complete and continuous. The fascists are literally issuing kill orders based on metadata alone.

You are living through everything already being normalized. The fact that you made this post is evidenced that it’s all already normalized. The US has managed to kill people before they were born by poisoning entire countries with chemical warfare and depleted uranium, likely based on the effectiveness of killing multiple generations of Japanese residents of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Don’t expect gas chambers - they are a solution to a logistics problem that doesn’t exist anymore. Don’t expect explicit mystical rhetoric about master races - if advertising of the 1940s doesn’t work today, why would other narrative forms from back then work today? Don’t expect occupation of white countries - we barely acknowledge occupations of brown countries, but white countries are subjugated by the transnational military known as NATO.

If you think fascism is coming instead of already here, you’re missing the forest for the trees.

To add to the other comments, I’d like to say comrade, as one SEA comrade to another, the things you mention are not so far from what already happens or have happened here.

Not straight-up “Nazism”, in it’s particular manifestations in 1940 Europe, per se, but what about the mass anti-communist killings in 1965-66 Indonesia? The smaller but still notable state-sanctioned killings/arrests in Thailand, Singapore, Burma, Cambodia, Brunei, Philippines and Malaysia?

Literally all countries except Laos and Viet Nam (and Cambodia), which interestingly enough faced their own fascist rule through South Viet Nam, their war for independence, and attempted genocide by the US military.

Not to mention the infamous genocides and other racial mass killings, happening before, but also currently happening, like in Burma. What about the racist attitudes and disregard exhibited by Singaporean, Malaysian and Thai societies against migrant labourers? The tribal and aboriginal peoples throughout Southeast Asia, from the Thai Hilltribes and Khmer Loeu in the mainland, to the Orang Asli and Papuans in the maritime, facing relentless (euro-inspired) chauvinism for being underdeveloped, backwards, and lazy? What about the Chinese and Indian peoples (From Burma and Viet Nam, to the Philippines and Indonesia we all know of all the expulsions, whether ultimately justified or not, whether perpetrated by the colonizers or the nationalists)?1

And how many are actually taught in each countries’ national curriculum? In which countries are the Communists slandered for being terrorists? It’s by far a majority.

As for segregation, in for example, Malaysia, it has been this case since colonisation. We are all too familiar with the separate linguistic / ethnic group schools based on the three government recognised races: Chinese, Indian and Malay2. We may have gain independence but race poisons our everyday discourse - and yet almost no attention is given of how this actually came to be. It is mystified through racial essentialism, which I contend perhaps is even more dangerous and stable.

SEA through the dialectic of uneven and combined development will face increased contradictions brought about their own capitalist development. Unlike some of the socialist states within SEA, region-wide, I can’t foresee a situation in which these contradictions are managed non-antagonistically.

Instead of evoking a demonized European Past which only gains notoriety through their implementation of colony policies on White people, we should instead look at the very real processes happening in our own backyard.

1 This requires elaboration because anti-Chinese sentiment has long been a mainstay in Southeast Asia for the past couple of centuries. However comparing them to European Jews, are useful - and common - but inadequate.

2 I like to note that in Singapore/Malaysia, race and ethnicity is interchangeable. It’s treated as one and the same, and it’s not just a mere misunderstanding of the terms either. It is an explicit, concerted effort by the ruling classes to cater to their communal bases but especially for the Malay (ruling class), where it allows them to act like they have the majority through the vaguely defined meanings of Malay, including technically “foreign” ethnic groups like Minangkabau, Javanese, Bugis, among others. And the educational linguistic divide is a necessarily complicated issue aswell but it will be too much to elaborate here.

Have you seen the way people mock the Russian V-Day parades because all the tanks are busy so only a single T-34 was present?

That tank was fighting Nazis while the US was still playing ‘wait and see’ and its cultural elite were sucking the Fuhrer’s dick.

I agree. What’s sadder still, but not really material (just aesthetic) is that they will co-opt left language to do it too so the people doing the fascism feel good about themselves.

Libs already are justifying oppression of the poor and crying about “crime rates” which means they want more police to protect their class. It’s only a matter of time that expands totally.

Just strictly speaking about the US, It’ll take a little while, but I agree. Some areas in the South or rural segments probably a bit quicker. Rn, the Democrats have too much to gain by pointing at the Nazis and saying “you want these Republicans or us?” so for the time being, because there is no real left to threaten the far-right. But over time, as things get worse and people demand more help from their government, the far-right stuff will be used as a “well at least they aren’t Gommunists” and then that evolves into “well at least they’re fighting the gommunists” then if things don’t change they turn into “you don’t support the Nazis? Fuckin Commie”. None of this is a quick turn, which is why libs fall for this shit so often, they don’t wake up in LGBTQ-friendly Bronx and wake up in Nazi Germany, the far-right sentiment stews and rots within the country until the stink is unbearable and these libs will say “how did it ever get this way”

ABSOLUTELY! The US Left is so small and separated here. The Left side of the Democratic Party, which in no way can be misconstrued as communist or socialist by anyone with half a brain(hence the reason Republicans often call AOC a communist), do not challenge capital interests very much at the end of the day. AOC’s slogan (which I bought into when I was younger) was literally “TAX the rich” playing on the popular proletarian call to action that is “EAT The Rich”. She isn’t even hiding the fact that she upholds their wealth and their right to property on such a disgusting scale, she just wants it taxed a bit more, so the government gets its share to fund libraries and hospitals and schools (and like 5x that on military spending for what the US loves to do). The second that the US Left was a threat to capital interests, the far-right would be going all out.

that sounds a lot like takfiring, in the end i think only God has the right to decide who’s a “real™️ muslim” and who isn’t

also, 3 of the people you mentioned are deceased

edit: also, i disagree with your notion that islamism is neither left-wing nor reich-wing (though most islamism you see these days can be conflated to reich-wingery). that gives me some serious “third positionist” vibes.

almost every Islamic scholar whether Sunni or Shia agrees that in a doctrinal sense Alawism is Kufr given the fact they hold Ali RA higher than Muhammad SAW, it’s not like a Sunni//Shia split it’s the fundamentals of our religion (believing that Muhammad is Allah SWT’s final messenger), same reason why Ahmadiyyah aren’t considered Muslim by wider Muslim scholarship

name those “almost every islamic scholar whether sunni or shia” then, because this is a huge claim you’re making.

what makes you believe that holding ali (ra) at a higher position automatically negates the belief that muhammad is the final messenger of god? it’s not like muhammad even asked to be deified or venerated, muslims do that on his behalf.

but why did you use “swt” after allah? isn’t that applied after muhammad?

first off, “SWT” is the honorific “Subhanahu wa ta’ala”, meaning “The Most Glorified, The Most High” - it is strictly reserved for Allah. You are getting “SWT” mistaken for “SAW”, which his the honorific used for Muhammad - meaning “Sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam”, often anglicised as PBUH or Peace Be Upon Him.

The Alawite believe in a divine duology whereby God reveals himself in two different aspects, the Ma’na, or physical manifestation of God, and the Ba’b, the veiler of the true essence of God (these are the ones considered to be the Prophet of their time by not only Muslims but other Abrahamics). For example, Alawites consider Jesus AS to be the veiler of God, the “miracle worker” who distracts people from the divine person ABOVE him - which in this case is considered to be Peter. In turn, Muhammad SAW is considered to be the veiler of Ali’ RA, the one who Alawites think was the true manifestation of God, just hidden by Muhammad SAW. Obviously such a belief is blatantly against the core Islamic doctrine of Tawheed, or the oneness of God - he does not reveal himself in multiple parts, nor manifests himself on Earth. This is not even mentioning the Alawite Shahada which states “There is no God but Ali’”.

Scholar Ibn Taymiyyah (I dont agree which all his teachings however he was correct on this point) summised the point in a Fatwa upon being asked what the Islamic stance on Alawites should be : “For they present themselves in front of ignorant Muslims as supporters and advocates of Ahl ul Bayt, while in reality they do not believe in Allah, or the Messenger, or the Book, or [Allah’s] orders, or prohibitions, or reward, or punishment, or Paradise, or Fire, or in one of the Messengers before Muhammad, sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, or in a religion from among previous religions. Rather, they take the words of Allah and His Messenger, known to the scholars of Muslims, and they interpret them based on their fabrications, claiming that their interpretations arehidden knowledge (“ilm ul-baatin”), such as what the questioner mentioned and more. They have no limit in their unbelief with regards to Allah’s Names, His verses, and their distortion of the Speech of Allah, the Most High, and His Messenger from their proper places [usages]. Their aim is repudiation of Islamic Beliefs and Laws in every possible way, trying to make it appear that these matters have realities that they know, like those mentioned by the questioner and others, such as that “five prayers” means knowledge of their secrets, “obligatory fast” hiding of their secrets, and “pilgrimage to Bayt al-Atiq” visit to their shaikhs, and that the two hands of Abu Lahab represent Abu Bakr and Umar, and that “the great news and the manifest imam” (an naba’ul adheem wal imaamul mubin) is `Ali ibn Abi Talib.”
