Any movie featuring the US military. Any movies featuring the US military are partially written by the US military so that they appear better than they actually are.

If so, just something to know about Chris Kyle, he said (not sure if true or not but disgusting claim at best, felony at worst) that he shot protesters during Katrina

I know there were white supremacist groups that flocked from around the nation to essentially hunt black survivors (“looters”) during Katrina and got away with it. That combined with the state response…there are dozens of stories like this, unfortunately he probably wasn’t exaggerating.

We should make a top 100 ranking with voting lmao.

I absolutely hate the ones about a small town guy/girl getting their dream job in a big city ( its always new york) after facing tough obstacles (they broke up with their partner). Peak example of this is Pursuit of happiness, bonus points cus its supposedly (loosely) based on a real story.

DARKEST HOUR! They really selected what they wanted to remember about Churchill. The anti-nazi message was second to the primary message of fight on and don’t give up. The entire analysis was basically if we fight on and strategize well we can WIN!!! They mostly ignore Soviet military wins in the Eastern Front (its been a while so maybe they mention it a few times but I doubt it) They also depict everything as utterly fucked until One Great Man stepped forward and strengthened the nation to endure the Nazi bombs. Also they try making him tough but charming on the inside. Which, if you know anything about his personal life, is tough to believe and really whitewashes him and simplifies his flaws. Good acting no doubt, I thought it was a well-made movie but very liberal

This could have been a great film. But your critique is spot on. It was bearable for the most part, notwithstanding the broader ahistorical flaws. But the whitewashing of Churchill, showing him to be friendly to a black man was more than I could take.

The guy spent his life committing heinous racist and reactionary crimes. His was anti-Semitic and he spoke of black people as inferior, by which he included more or less anyone south of Calais and east of the alps. He purposely decided to starve/abandon to the enemy three million people in India. Prior to all this, he was known for calling the army on striking workers and shooting them in the street. He was no anti-fascist, I’ll put it that way.

A million ways to die in the west. It is literally just 90 or so minutes of Seth McFarland jerking himself off and smelling his own farts in a hyper self righteous ego trip about how stupid everyone in the past was and how smart he is for pointing it out. It’s embodies the essence of liberalism really. If you watch it you will understand. It’s s not about the plot or anything and more about the general attitude and hyper condescending nature that makes it the essence of what a liberal IS.

Now a’ days it seems they’re all competing to out shill one another. This applies to streaming service produced media such as Netflix too, as well as video games.

Probably not the most, but Enola Holmes is one of the most lib movies I’ve seen in a while.

The whole plot is that revolutionary spirit doesn’t do anything and you need VOOOOOOOOOOOTES and the gOoD pEoPlE in Parliament to make actual change. Fight systemic sexism by making sure one of the male leaders of the world thinks women aren’t complete NPCs in this world.

95% of Tom Hank’s catalog consists of overrated mediocre films, but there are some gems in the trash heap. The Green Mile and Philadelphia come to mind for example.

Forest Gump by far. It’s a movie that says you can be dumb, and in fact being dumb and not questioning things is a virtue, so long as you do what you’re told and stand for the flag you’ll be rich and successful. But if you try to improve society somewhat or ask questions then you deserve to be beaten and die of cancer.
