      It was the exact opposite during the Cold War. Back then, all Russian men were supposed to be dangerous Mongolian supermen who would come over and rape your wife, and Russian women were all supposed to be unattractive babushkas.

      After 1991, the propaganda flipped. Russian men were suddenly weak, pathetic drug addicts, and Russian women were all horny sex goddesses just waiting to throw themselves at their American “savior.”
