The Supreme Court of the DPR issued a death sentence to foreigners who fought on the side of Ukraine - Aiden Aslin, Sean Pinner and Saadun Brahim. Information to be confirmed. The US has the biggest incarceration rate of the planet. Mostly people from minorities and working class backgrounds who spent half their lives jailed for minor offenses. The US applies the death penalty to under age kids and mental disabled People. Yet the outrage will be because the DPR had sentenced to death 3 Terrorists who have had, at least, cooperated with war criminals. CossackGundi was an actual artillery man in an area of the front where residential areas were shelled daily.

Last minute news! 2 British and 1 moroccan mercenaries who were captured in Mariupol by DPR forces as they were fighting with ukrainian forces (including the nazi Azov Battallion), have just been sentenced to DEATH, for mercenarism and attempting to illegally seize power in the DPR, by the Supreme Court of the Donetsk Peoples Republic, in Donetsk. We are waiting for more details.

UPDATE: The 2 british mercenaries are Aiden Aslin and Shaun Pinner. Both exmembers of the british army, Aiden had fought in Syria against ISIS and the Assad government with the Rojava kurds (the YPG), while Shaun had fought in Northern Ireland during the troubles (fighting against the IRA) and in Bosnia during the imperialist invasion, both times as an official british soldier, while Aiden fought both in Syria and Ukraine as a mercenary. So yeah, 2 imperialist pigs.

Aiden also had a Twitter account that constantly spread russophobia and bragged about killing russians. Aiden claims (he started claiming this only after he was captured by the DPR) his twitter account was stolen by a friend while he was on the frontlines in Mariupol and that he didnt post that stuff. Truth be told, its true that his twitter account “CossackGundi” is still posting, so its clear that, at least since his capture, someone else has accessed and used his account. I leave it up to you to decide whether you believe him or not. No information until now on the moroccan guy.

UPDATE 2: The convicts have 1 month to appeal the sentence to the Supreme Court of the DPR. If the appeal is accepted, their death sentence may be commuted to life in prison or 25 years in prison.

    There´s already news stories coming out here with sob stories about them. They mention that they all fought in Mariupol. I wonder alongside whom they fought?

    A lot of Redditors are hoping that this what gets the UK into the war. Because 2 guys that chose to be there are totally worth plunging your country into a conflict it has no stake in.

      The UK government could intercede on their behalf but then they would have to recognize the DPR and LPR as legitimate governments, which they will not do.

    Not personally a fan of capital punishment, but for fascists who murdered civilians one may make an exception.

      Same. Im generally against the death penalty, but there are situations in which its necessary, such as a revolution or a war for example. If you have spies, mercenaries, traitors, etc and you dont have a proper prison infrastructure to hold them, what are you gonna do? Let them go? Its not ideal but its what it is. And besides bourgeois/nazi scum deserves it.
