No. It’s a pfp of a murderous, psychopathic and sociopathic video game character. I did enjoy the game he’s in, in a way I also enjoyed American Psycho. Doesn’t mean I’m suddenly going to glorify Patrick Bateman or Walter White. (Ignore the Stallman edit in my pfp xDxDxD) So seeing Andrew in the pfp, does not ring well. Couldn’t have chosen a more “zoomer friendly” monster of a character that the audience should spite rather than glorify. And yet here we are.

These two at least have cool/badass scenes so I can see why have them as pfp(I have Lalo and Junko on social media, while in the past I had like Jeff the Killer and Freddy Krueger ffs).

And yeah, you are right. Walter is a saint (could be contested) compared to them, but not Bateman. He also indulged himself in cannibalism even if only mentioned that he tried some human brain. He also commited many acts of murder, dismemberment and probably even worse things I’ve forgotten. So no, Bateman is on a level playing field with them. The incest is just the cherry on top, a taboo society hasn’t been desensitized from, and rightly so I hope it never comes to that. We are already in deep shit regarding what we’ve been desensitized from, that to get the same thrill of taboo, more and more fucked up shit is being presented to us.
Gee, could you imagine if American Psycho even slightly mentioned necrophilia and not just the brain eating part? Now that would be interesting, wonder how film critics would’ve reacted to that. I’d say that only would’ve added to the movie and the character of Bateman, that he’s so detached from his humanity he’s willing to do more and more inhumane acts purely for enjoyment and “exploring his options”.
I think The Coffin explores these disgusting themes pretty well, by going overboard with everything and pulling it off. My liking of the game comes mostly because of their relationship but also due to an intrigue pedaled by disgust. This amount of edge is weirdly addictive.

With Walter it was written much better regarding whether the audience should sympathize with him or not, here though it’s easy to point out even in their “wholesome” scenes on how horrible beings they are and it’s damn near impossible to sympathize with them. It adds a sort of macabre comedy to situations like that. Two siblings acting nonchalant about cooking human soup. They are very similar to Bateman in that regard. You can’t really sympathize with them unless you are a total piece of shit or there is some kind of exception.
I also think that it’s somewhat better that they do not have any “badass” scenes, it grounds them as human beings not that too different from others… except for everything that makes them who they are. Really shows that even the worst examples of humanity are well… human. And it’s terrifying to overthink that. Makes me hate the bourgeoisie even more, to realize that Jesus Christ, they are human and act the way they do either way.
Also I suggest avoiding the fandom of this game. Lotsa incest stuff. Yeah.

Yeah I remember Bateman being even worse in the book, in the movie he’s a serial killer with psychosis or something like that, they thankfully toned down the movie, the book one does compare. This is just disgusting for the sake of being disgusting, and same, as I was reading this I was just imagining Michael Myers or Jason just fucking brutalizing them.
Yes, they don’t have badass scenes, which is why I don’t get any liking to the point of pfps when it comes to them, even Bateman has that shoot-out, blowing up cars and insanity of a scene with Paul Allen, besides of every other scene being memed to oblivion. On the matter of siblings, for example there are the Twins from Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul, they’re also complete psychos but badass in the same time and liked, same thing goes for Junko and Mukuro from Danganronpa.
There are limits and incest is the peak of them, I can stand watching blood, killing, whatever, but that’s just something completely disgisting and loathsome. It makes me sick and I want to vomit after even hearing about it.

Sorry for not replying fast enough, it’s a horror RPG game about two siblings (Andrew/Andy amd Ashley/Leyley) being toxically co-dependent with one another and being rather mentally unstable to say the least, the game’s tone is rather bleak and also has so much incest subtext in regards to our MCs to the point that one optional ending can actually make these two lunatics engage in incest.
