Isn’t China committed to non-violence? It’s a shame people are this fucking stupid. Funny how the US makes no appearance whatsoever. Poll is built deliberately to manipulate the results by give three concrete answers and one where you can choose yourself. Most people would choose the direct answers just because it seems correct. A great example on how the west is severely propagandized, even a simple poll can plant a seed of resentment.
It’s not really non-violence, more non-intervention and a commitment to not being first strike. I do not think China would have a military of its size if it was committed to non-violence. But this might just be semantics

I meant that I’ve only ever seen China try to de-escalate situations as non-violently as possible before using force. Also it tends to not get involved unless absolutely necessary. Unlike other countries, China doesn’t seem to jump the gun as swiftly.
My knowledge of China is still quite limited but from what I do know, I just haven’t seen anything that makes it a threat. It’s military is intimidating and would be considered a threat if one were at war with China, I’m not denying China’s strength. It’s just that China isn’t actively threatening others at every opportunity. At least that’s what I’ve witnessed. Growing up I was never scared of China, it was always the US that seemed like the biggest threat (plus I’m Canadian so being neighbours dials that fear up even more).

The fact that China still edged out Russia despite the hot proxy war going on and Russia having a nuclear arsenal that can send the West to the stone age goes to demonstrate that they are bunch of racists and chauvinists more concerned with seeing their precious Western civilization being outdone on a broad economic, scientific, and cultural level then with who is the biggest threat to them in the purely physical sense.
