Religion and belief play a major role in Marxism and anti-capitalism and ignoring it or casting aside as ignorance or something to be cleansed is a mistake has been a major mistake of many leftist movements through history, turning the church and believers into perfect targets for anti-marxist radicalization and conversion. Many of our philosophers and theorists, from Marx to Mao, battled with this issues but frequently religion is dismissed in discussion or treated like it has no potential.

Ridiculousness is a common tactic used through intelligence history even in non-western countries, you make the opposition look ridiculous, extreme and outlandish, cooky, like nut jobs, you see a lot of this in the US and the UK in particular, you get weird conspiratorial groups with cringy messages and outfits and stupid songs and it makes people run away fast I’m the opposite direction (Check out the Million Mask March events post Occupy in the US for some funny shit.)

Covert, covert is meticulous and professional incursions into organization to slowly shift or dismantle operational capacity, sow discord and division and render ineffective an organization against the ideal or narrative the operation has. This one is basically impossible to discover, these are professionals who are trained for years in clandestine shit. Really the only way to fight this is a strong centralised method of leadership and strict codes and rules. But even then, it’s always going to be a risk in any organization or movement opposing capitalism. The more experience you get, the easier it gets to spot, but even the best orgs have been infiltrated and turned into ops.

I don’t envy western comrades at all when it comes to organizing serious Marxist politics. That’s why I’d suggest focusing on labour organising and stay away from red flags and hammer/sickle stuff in real organizing. You’ll still be infiltrated, but not as much.

If what they say is accurate, there is essentially not a single leftist organization in the US that isn’t involved with the CIA doing contemporary cointelpro in some form, which if is true is pretty fucking terrible for every comrade in the US and means that basically everything any of the five organizations have touched is tainted by the CIA which is a metric fuck done of leftist organizing that is rotten. For such a dramatic claim, the evidence needs to be air tight and the presentation needs to be a fuck ton better than it is, I read through everything and I came out more confused than knowledgeable. The organization is atrocious and it looks like a red string conspiracy board. Religion may not be the end goal, in a utopian world maybe it will be gone, but suffering exists, religion and belief exists as a result, we as Marxist Leninists, followers of SWCC, MLMs, etc need to understand that religion is here and it’s here to stay and many of the people who we will be talking to and radicalizing are religious with deeply held beliefs in their version of God(s). Militant Atheism is an objectively bad choice for our movements, especially in the global south, which is seeing a growing number of religious adherents, including leftist religious people. Liberation theology is increasing in popularity in the global south, leftwing Christianity is growing in popularity, in fact the recent Cuban family code change was established with major support from socialist Christians.

We need to stop treating religious people like they are stupid, ignorant, less than, or anything but humans looking for answers while fighting the human condition and the sufferings of Capitalism.
