Hello comrades, how have you been this week? Anything you wish to report for this week’s exercise thread?

I killed it with squats this week. Best I have done with them in a long time. My legs have been getting used to working again and doing really well. My abs however were on fire the next day.

A week ago I messed up one of my thumbs while working ony car and jacked up a ligament. Despite this I was able to hold the bar no problem as I didn’t need to much if any force from the thumb thanks to the brace I had. It actually didn’t cause any discomfort at all. It causes more issues typing or holding my phone. lol

Had a huge workout Wednesday that affected my Friday workout. Probably skipping today’s workout to just get a light pump and recover. Gonna eat a shit tonne too because the body needs it.

Been eating like shit today, but I at least got back into the gym :'). I should’ve gone like 3 times this week, but I’ve only went about twice so far…

Damn I should start cooking again.

Got some good workouts done from Monday to Thursday. Rented out a castle with friends for the weekend to do some partying and stuff, so diet is a bit shit for this week. But at least we did two big hikes through the hills today and yesterday, so all is good.

Next week we continue lifting as normal.

That sounds rad… How much does it cost to rent that?

Think it eventually came down to 100 per person (14 persons total) for three full days which was not bad at all imo. Great location for big groups.

Finished leg day today, and I’m drained from it.

How long do yalls workout sessions usually last?

Seems like a good amount of time. If I push it much past 50 minutes, I’m wrecked for the day.

Well I take 15 minutes to do a 1 mile warm up walk then stretch for 35ish minutes then my sets only take about 3-5 minutes per set and I do 4-5 of those but take like 10-15 mins between them as I do other shit around the house or work

I won a compact elliptical in a workplace raffle. It rocks. I can get a killer leg workout sitting down and watching YouTube if I want. Gets my heart beating, too.

Otherwise been doing arms and hips with a 10lb walmart dumbbell. Noticing some improvement in strength, but it feels slow. Usually does, I’m sure.

Waiting on a cheap push-up board I bought with an ab-roller and grip strengthener. Hoping it was all worth the $30 asking price. Being hyperflexible and having fibromyalgia makes this shit necessary, though. Can’t keep spraining my wrist opening pickle jars lol.
