yes yes, a nation with 1.4 billion people could easily fake everything just to lie to a bunch of Westoids.

When I was in China I didn’t see any vegetation painted green. What I did see was whole hillsides of trees all with a pest-repellent painted around the base of the trunks to protect them, and I thought of the pine forests in my home state that are just entire mountains covered in dead trees from the pine beetles.

They may be referring to the Laoshou mountain, which in 2007 allegedly had its entire side painted green to give Chinese satellites the impression that they were meeting environmental regulations. The plan failed.

We can put them in a little Truman Show town with very good internet and control all inbound information to convince them that actually it’s everyone else who’s in a zoo. They can spend their time devising ways to get through the firewall to try and contact us dumb farm animals to inform us of our communist imprisonment.

I think that’s too much work and mean-spirited, even if they kinda have it coming. I think it’d be simpler and more cost effective to imprison, reeducate, or put them in the ground.

it seems that communism truly has money if they can just paint vegetation, that probably is more expensive than caring for the plant. why capitalism didn’t think on that?

      The quote

In the United States, for over a hundred years, the ruling interests tirelessly propagated anticommunism among the populace, until it became more like a religious orthodoxy than a political analysis. During the Cold War, the anticommunist ideological framework could transform any data about existing communist societies into hostile evidence. If the Soviets refused to negotiate a point, they were intransigent and belligerent; if they appeared willing to make concessions, this was but a skillful ploy to put us off our guard. By opposing arms limitations, they would have demonstrated their aggressive intent; but when in fact they supported most armament treaties, it was because they were mendacious and manipulative. If the churches in the USSR were empty, this demonstrated that religion was suppressed; but if the churches were full, this meant the people were rejecting the regime’s atheistic ideology. If the workers went on strike (as happened on infrequent occasions), this was evidence of their alienation from the collectivist system; if they didn’t go on strike, this was because they were intimidated and lacked freedom. A scarcity of consumer goods demonstrated the failure of the economic system; an improvement in consumer supplies meant only that the leaders were attempting to placate a restive population and so maintain a firmer hold over them. If communists in the United States played an important role struggling for the rights of workers, the poor, African-Americans, women, and others, this was only their guileful way of gathering support among disfranchised groups and gaining power for themselves. How one gained power by fighting for the rights of powerless groups was never explained. What we are dealing with is a nonfalsifiable orthodoxy, so assiduously marketed by the ruling interests that it affected people across the entire political spectrum.

Doubt all you want, but I’ve seen these large sections of vegetation spray painted green to make it look more… errr… alive.

I don’t think it was in China though; pretty sure it was in front of a Home Depot.

Pfft you think that’s crazy? The US doesn’t actually have police violence. I’ve seen videos describing how the Police unions just use dead bodies to make it look like they are killing people so they can uphold their image of an imperial police force.

It’s crazy when you think about it.

If suburbanites in California are painting their grass green for their HOA’s, does that count as being part of the conspiracy theory?

    California is communist theory confirmed!
