      Decades of war propaganda games like CoD, Battlefield etc have changed the gullible minds of young boys to believe the US Army and NATO are real life good guys

      Every single gaming related website is full of Ukraine army donation adds, they definitely identified gamers as being perfect little soldier of imperialist ideology

          So fucking sad, I am strongly convinced that the video game medium has great potential to promote inclusive values and dialectical thinking, but it’s been dominated by tech bros and venture capitalists because of its historical context of emmergence. Can’t wait to have a soviet-style academy of interactive art

      Political analysists now see gamers as a key demographic for predicting elections. More than football fans now. So they are heavily targeted with propaganda.

          Something one of my friends who did political science and public policy grad school was telling me. Gamers are now one of the most important demographics for elections and whatnot. It used to be traditional sports fans.

          So basically if they can put the horse bit in the gamers mouth they can more easily predict (and manipulate) elections and gauge public will and opinion. This is likely why games like COD are so slimey, but also why the the culture around it is too, including the influencers and content creaters. Gamers are prime targets of power politics. There are so many they can’t be ignored. It works out well for power because many are impressionable.

              I think its that there are so many now. The propaganda was probably saturated well before gamers became so many, certainly COD and its siblings are the classics and they are kinda old now.

              But yeah its like manufacturing consent kind of stuff. It’s a litmus test because they certainly do react to stuff and major brands like Disney do seem to cater to them as well. Political figures absolutely without a single doubt have someone that knows what the data says about gamers.

              It’s also a propaganda outlet at the same time. They are so big now its easy to lay a nazi egg and just let gamers incubate it for you because of the base of reactionaries that is both currated and “natural.” Eventually they police and propagandize themselves. Similar to how its basically a feature of US culture to be orientalist and believe anything anyone says about the DPRK, China, Russia, Afghanistan etc. We love propaganda so much the CIAs job is easy, same with gamers, it’s just more consequencial now that they are a pivitol demographic and politicians and corps probably know gamers better than gamers do.

                  Yeah it really is terrifying. At work I always sound insane because I’m almost always going on about how “they’re out in front of us man, they know everything you know and they won’t teach you the cutting edge, don’t take anything at face value or they’ll lead you around by the mouth” anytime anything media related gets brought up.

                  I had to explain why the NY times is a bad source (I accidentally chuckled at its mention) and it’s just such a quagmire of shit and mud it’s hard to even begin to explain so I just go full paranoid.

    I sadly suffered through this video, and I can tell you, that its total clickbait.

    He reacts to a bunch of homophobic and reactionary crap from some Russian social media group that came out years ago, and claims that “Z motherfuckers” hate freedom because theres totally no homophobia or racism in the west.

    Utter grifter.
