I had an interaction with a liberal who talked about how the average Russians silence on the matter merrits them unworthing of “saving”…I wonder what that means. I pointed out how a majority of Americans religiously supported the “War on Terror” at it’s height with the invasion of Iraq, and of course, I got a muh whataboutism…

If anyone ever tells you something being about whataboutism, tell them that pointing out hypocrisy isn’t whataboutism. Its “whataboutism” to declare something as being whataboutism.

Or you could tell them they’re a cracker piece of shit warmongering tool.

lmao, i basically said that accusing me of muh whataboutism isn’t saying that I’m wrong 😯, just that you’re unwilling to deal with your cognitive dissonance.

Strangely, no response was heard after that 😐.

      whataboutism

lol their favourite word, like it’s a get out of jail free card. Imagine advocating for genocide of an ethnicity and still believing they’re the “good guys”.

Russia is both filled with protests and rebels and at the same time completely guilty according to media. Which is it?

Funny how libs judge about propaganda and Russia when I can’t even access Russian news or sites, due to the west blocking them.

I shit you not, on my local news they had video of a cardboard silhouette of the Crimean bridge with cartoon explosions (literally this emoji💥) painted on it and people laughing and posing in front of it like its the leaning fucking tower of Pisa or Eiffel Tower or something. I got so pissed at how callous and inhumane it is that I (admittedly too angrily) made a stink about it while my family was watching Tv and I changed the channel. I felt like I overreacted but I couldn’t continue to watch people mocking a terrorist event, it’s honestly sickening what people are cheering for these days. I don’t cheer on war, I understand why it happens and why it may be necessary but you’ll never catch me wearing shirts of a terrorist atrocity or wearing Neonazi shirts (a guy at my town wore an Azov shirt to the gun range, nobody batted an eye, I hate America). I feel like everyone around me is slowly becoming not only ok with the state of the war, but outright bloodthirsty and wishing for more.

In the meantimes USA does fucking double taps on civilians and no one bats an eye.

(and they of course accuse Russia of doing so without any proof whatsoever, it’s always projection, always)

It’s amusing to me how killing civilians and destroying shit outside the hot zone isn’t considered terrorism but doing war is.
