Say what you want, but all these liberals going on about how the votes are bs are really self reporting how little they know about the conflict. Anyone surprised that most people in Donetsk or luhansk would rather join Russia is utterly clueless. They do realize that this happening would shut down Azov and other terror groups in these areas? If I lived there I would 100% vote in favor just to finally escape the constant fear and terror of Azov goons lurking around every corner. Probably feels the same as being a Muslim in Iraq or Afghanistan during American occupation, where literal 4 year old children are permanently traumatized by the explosions, drones, etc.

Pro-tip: next time you see a lib babbling about the current Ukraine war, just casually ask them if they know Victoria Nuland went there in 2014 to personally support the Maidan coup.

I find it’s great to ask them what they think about NATO invasion of Yugoslavia where NATO recognized the independence of breakaway regions on the pretext of genocide, and then held referendums while these regions were occupied. It’s really fun to watch them explain that’s completely different from the approach Russia took in Ukraine.

Yup. Like, Putin did say at the time that it was a dangerous precedent.

Putin did follow up supporting independence of ossetians who preferred joining North ossetia to being in Georgia. He also supported ethnic Russians for joining up Russia in Crimea.

Like, the west opened up this melon, and act all surprised that its spilling on their hands.

Lmao my youtube feed, despite never even proposing fascist shit to me was suddenly full of it today. I’m a little afraid to open any mainstream news, i don’t wanna test if it’s possible to die from pure cringe.

I like these guys. I watch them almost every day, but I was a little taken aback by their lack of concern for the voting of fan girl Mussolini and now the really odd gesturing of Putin toward right-wingers. I know they are reserved to say things one way or another, but idk. It’s kinda cringe not to say anything when Putin is going off about the nuclear family and “made up” genders in the west.

I get those points are somewhat tangential to the speech, but they still make me feel a bit uneasy.

To my understanding they are not communist or progressive socially, but both conservative and realist in terms of international relations. The result is they approve is Putin, but for different reasons than an anti-imperialist might. It’s my understanding that the one who talks most of the time is perhaps anti-imperialist based off of some of their speeches off this platform, but those are older.

At any rate, when it comes to international relations and diplomatic analysis, it seems they are quite sound.

Let me know if you know anything I don’t about the situation!

Yeah, I think that as long as peeps watch them without thinking they agree with leftists, it’s a great resource.

They are right wing, but they do have a sober and realist analysis. So, I just filter their bias, but I find they do an excellent job presenting the facts. Overall definitely worth watching.

Yeah, I know. Like I said, I watch these guys on the reg, I think they do an incredibly good job, but it still bothers me how reticent they are to disagree with far-right rhetorics. They don’t express agreement, but they don’t openly disagree often with some of their absurd superchats lol.

I suggest people take a look at Garland Nixon. He’s pretty left wing and quite funny too.

It is very dangerous because there are many who are susceptible to this rhetoric among marxist spaces. Meanwhile Cuba is making history. We cant let reactionary fools get away with this. They are only feeding into colonoal discourse and can strengthen their enemies with this foolishness. Different gender systems have been imperiled by eurocolonialism for centuries, now its victims reproduce its violence. What a fucking sick joke. Its it beyond undignified for Putin or any representative of the anti imperialist bloc to do this, yet he does it like clockwork.

Furthermore, his “populist” strategy is appealing to sections that are manipulated by political/religious forces in the US. In many parts of the world anti-queer politics are financed by western churches and organizations and sometimes they even write laws for other countries. It makes me so angry to see these sections of society, which deserve nothing more than to be starved out in a seige, be appealed to in any way. “ThE wEsT wAnTs tO TuRn YoU gAy!” says Putin. No, Putin, you fucking dipshit, much of your homophobia is currated by the west! AAAARRGGHH

Yeah Putin is not a great person at all, but he seems to be the only choice that doesn’t lead to the west taking over Russia unless the Russian Communist Party does some serious cleanup.
