I saw too many people praising him and talking that ‘‘he was not like the other billionaires’’ and that he was actually good, not same like Bezos, Musk, Gates etc…But I am 100% sure he did some standard horrible shit every billionaire does. So, what exactly he did?

    Going to be completely unhelpful but he does not have to do anything uniquely evil to deserve scorn. Billions are always made the same way, by exploiting the labour of the people who work.

    But unique incidents of shittiness are useful for propaganda. Regarding Jobs I have heard of a few things like him being a terrible boss and stealing or plaigiarising early Apple computer designs but I don’t remember details because it has been a long time (rest in piss). One odd thing I remember is that he used to put his foot in the toilet bowl and flush because he found it therapeautic or something like that.

      The documentary Steve Jobs, man in the machine has a lot of his shitty behavior. His entire brand and wealth came from stealing other people’s ideas, and yet when prototype iphones would get lost, he’d ruthlessly pursue legal action against the people, even sending cops to their doors.

      He couldn’t make anything or code, so his first job ( making games for atari ), he got woz to do for him, paying woz only a pittance of what he sold the games for.

      He was unique among silicon valley entrepreneurs in that he didn’t give anything to charity, even to boost his image.

      He was a complete asshole to his family and friends, letting his baby momma and baby ( who he refused to recognize ) wallow in poverty while being one of the richest people on the planet.

      His only thing was that he wielded capital more effectively than his peers and used it recruit creative people, which he then appropriated for his own brand image and cult of personality. He’s a prototype for the silicon valley cult leader who knows how to manipulate the media, and advertise in such a way that people forget he’s just a capitalist trying to make a profit. People like Elizabeth holmes and countless other silicon valley grifters would try to emulate him.

    As far as I know most of the brilliance of the early Apple engineering came from Wozniak rather than Jobs, with which he amassed popularity and hoarded capital, not like Wozniack doesn’t have any money, but not as much credit as he should have.
