I swear the chauvinism, condescension and arrogance every time a Western official talks to a Chinese person is infuriating. Who the fuck do they think they are and who do they think China is? Like China’s just gonna take, shrug off and forget all the sinophobic propaganda that’s been thrown at them.

But it’s also hilarious seeing it blow up in their faces with increasing frequency. The Chinese don’t and shouldn’t take shit from these crackers.

People really internalise the idea they’re the brave heroes standing up to an evil empire, even if they know that’s obviously bollocks.

As much as I agree with her, citing the Express when you’re arguing about fake news is maybe not the best look lol

Just as bad as citing BBC, CNN, The Guardian or Fox News on anything opposed to western interests?

I’ll bet you anything that this BBC “producer” has at least two Harry Potter books in her house

Never have I seen anyone dissect the lies and arrogant bullshit of Western media with such accuracy, coldness and elegance

-is what I would say if the Chinese MOFA didn’t do this on a weekly basis

I like how the Chinese spokesperson knows more about BBC’s internal operation than BBC does xD
