Sadly the view of blaming China for the mistakes of other countries who failed to fight the virus is extremely common.
It’s pretty much the accepted narrative at this point. People seriously believe that China let the virus escalate. If you show them statistics they will counter with “those are just faked, the CCP always lies”.
I am so frustrated with the state of the west. I just hope the global South keeps rising and the death of Europe and America will be swift.
