Genocide is just a European reflex. If this offends Europeans, there is a very good and noble way of proving me wrong.

Does anyone know where to find the recent sales and donations by countries (to Ukraine and Israel)? Would be interested to see how much taxpayer money have been wasted into this war and genocide.

Not so much “wasted” as transfered to billionaries and politicians (massive profits on weapon sales) with some loss (actually having to pay to build the items bought and sold).

6.8 billion dollars is how much it costs to keep one turret firing for two hours, or alternatively, how much it costs to pay for the EU’s entire electricity consumption for eighty-four hours

ever notice every ‘discussion’ on reddit about the UKs contribution to this literally always downplays it as being insignificant or just a drop in the bucket so why even bother, lmao.

Notice how every other discussion of Europe on Lemmy excludes the UK because its not part of the EU.

While not part of the EU it still acts mostly in unison with the EU block, given that it only recently seperated its worth considering still in the cultural-political block, which they remain alligned with.

The UK is also highly likely to rejoin within the next 25 years, regardless its irrelevant to the genocide being supported in this case.

Why is France’s contribution so much bigger than anyone else’s? Do we produce that much more weapons than the rest of Europe?

Because money is money. They sell Israel telecommunications and electrical equipment, along with machine parts for their vehicles.
