Losing? They’ve made their money, and launched Ukraine into insurmountable debt. Not to say anything about making Europe dependent on the us even more. From my point of view they’ve achieved their goals just as much as Russia did. But those goals are tightening the rope around their necks, and do I want them to finally suffocate.
Well, on one side this was the perfect deal for the US and I imagine the future of American imperial war will look a lot more like Ukraine and a lot less like Vietnam, Iraq or Afghanistan. However, the imperial war machine dreamed of having a little Slavic military base dressed as a nation like Israel, so this is still a massive failure for them, but no matter what happens American elites get PAID.
I don’t think the empire can handle another Ukraine (or Palestine). Despite the power projection, they’re spread incredibly thin. Military recruitment is abysmal. The western economy is hanging by a thread, slavering over stolen Russian funds. Stockpiles are wiped out. Ships lack personnel to operate them. The western military is more technocratic than ever. Trade wars are increasingly cutting off access to actual productive forces and necessary resources. The atrocities are in plain view and mass protests are becoming more than annoying. The propaganda machine is cranked up past the point of appearing legitimate.
The global hegemon needs a long cooling off period before they pull more of this bullshit, but by then they’ll be a collapsing star in a multi-polar world.
I hope to commie Jesus you’re right, but Westerners that are 40+ overwhelmingly believe the propaganda bullshit hook, line and sinker. But yes, the tide is changing very quick.
I guess that sounds more optimistic than I really feel. I think the current US strategy is leading to an all-in gamble for either global domination, or global annihilation. If this were just a question of conventional war, the empire is paper tiger. They cannot keep this up, much less expand it. The real threat, in my opinion, is the spoiled child with nuclear weapons upturning the table because he’s not winning.
This was a perfect deal for the US elites and their thoroughly corrupt system, which is detached from the reality on the ground, a collective delusion maintained through sheer terroristic might and constant propagandizing.
For the US as a country? For its people, for the foundations of its true economy and domination of the mechanisms of trade and finance, for its reputation (at home and abroad), for the sustaining of its racist, imperialist, settler-colonial ethos? And for the foundations of its global network of compradors, in the long-term? I would call what has happened so far a likely fatal blow- the results of which, we will be seeing bleed out possibly for decades (and good riddance!)
If you ask me, the actions of the neocons and the Biden administration in particular (though all other administrations in recent history have been working towards this point- save for perhaps Trump, though he’s terrible in his own right for countless other reasons) these past 4 years have been the equivalent of finally (after decades of ever-increasing neoliberal starvation and neglect) gutting their golden goose of empire. What remains is a carcass running on fumes and the hopes that maybe, just maybe, they can terrorize the rest of the world enough to stuff their goose full of plunder yet again- meanwhile all the crooks are stuffing their pockets, and escalating to achieve the prior goals mentioned, while the getting is good.
The same manic panic that characterized the last days of Hitler in his fuhrerbunker- that Ukraine and the Zionist-occupation regime are heading towards- the same cartoonish crookedness and derangement Zelensky and Netanyahu are displaying- if you ask me, the western elites are in an incredibly similar pickle, if not quite so far down that road yet, with the sole important distinction being that due to their imperial hubris, I doubt any of the neocons and western elites in general have the slightest fear of ever facing personal consequences for their crimes, or not being able to escape the fallout to their bunkers, private islands, and guarded compounds.
They also got the win of destroying the European economy, a true competitor. Same thing they did when they ended the deal with Iran. But euro cucks are still dreaming of jobs in the NGO PowerPoint slide making market.
Subjugating Ukraine? You mean like pouring money into propping up puppet politicians, having them forcibly mobilize hundreds of thousands into war against their will, and handing out “aid” as loans that future generations will have to slave away to repay? Tell us more about that Biden.
NATO is already losing the arms race. Even the autoloader variant of the M1 Abrams tank, called AbramsX, can’t protect against existing weapons.

The second one, I doubt he is even aware of who Ukraine’s neighbors are.
Another reason they want the war to keep going is because when Russia wins and doesn’t immediately invade Poland, it’ll destroy the narrative.
But could they just pretend that they never made the predictions. The Pax Americana media pretended that they never made the disproven predictions of defection from Russian army, collapse of Russia from military intervention in Ukraine, or Putin’s inability to follow his promise to only protect minority ethnic group in Russian intervention.
Yeah, the insufferable libs will all be saying “Of course Putin was never going to invade Poland, that was a Trumpist/Russian/Chinese/Tankie lie to ruin Biden’s chances in the election!”
I think they’ll just say that they are actively preparing to invade for ever, just like they are doing with China and Taiwan.
