I was thinking to myself earlier that many people have dietary restrictions of SOME sort. Whether that be self-imposed or pre-determined. Plenty of people have allergies or take medications that don’t allow them to have certain foods, Grapefruit is (or was idk) not good for people on Blood Pressure medication I hear firsthand. Then there’s the religious exemptions, like avoiding Pork or alcohol or Beef. Then there’s also the ideological exemptions; Vegetarianism, Pescatarianism, Veganism, I could go on. TL;DR: Do you have a dietary restriction and if so, why?
can’t eat cinderblocks
skill issue
That’s some ShoeNice type shit lol
I can’t consume a large number of liberalism particles, they cause headaches
I’m vegan btw.
One year anniversary is coming up in 2 months.
Happy early anniversary on that, much respect 🫡
Thanks!
Also, I can’t take any cyp3a4 inhibitors like grapefruit cause of my meds.
I have been vegetarian for like seven years or so? Too lazy to go vegan, but the vegans are right.
Same situation, down to the years! 🥦
Well, rest easy knowing you’re healthier and more principled than most, me included
haha thanks but unfortunately my diet is not that healthy
I don’t eat fruit.
Any reason? I assume it’s probably pretty good for you, to each their own tho, I love fruit
I recall hearing that a lot of modern fruit, at least in the West, is significantly less nutritious than it used to be; if that’s true, it’s mostly sugar and a bit of fiber (but still better than fruit juice)
That’s definitely true, except bananas. Sorta. They actually tasted better and sweeter, they now taste more bland. Regardless I think it’s part of a nutritious balanced diet and I would recommend Dragonfruit, really good, Kiwis too

Also very important to wash your fruit before consuming it, but if that still messes with your stomach then it isn’t worth it I suppose, too bad, fruit is great
You might be really deficient in fiber, which fruit have a lot of and fruit juice has none of. Getting a good fiber intake after a prolonged period of time of being deficient will be problematic and causes a lot of people to stop before they can overcome that.

I’m vegan and have been for well more than a year now. I don’t see myself backtracking on it. I went vegan obviously for animal rights reasons but there were also other concerns which led to me making the step, such as environmentalism (the animal farming industries being one of the biggest causes of climate change, land usage etc) and even humanitarianism (these industries frequently exploit immigrants and have been caught using child labour, they also have one of the highest PTSD rates of any industry).
Tons of shit because autism :<
Literally the same for me. I don’t eat most vegetables and I do not eat wet food (soup, sauces, etc.).
Interesting, I never would’ve guessed, thanks for sharing🫡
Some forms of non-homogenous food are inedible for me. Like, strawberry yoghurt, or most vegetables.
Or those stupid carrot pieces in soup. Can’t they grind that shit down like everything else?
I really hate fried onion.
allergic to almonds
Is it only almonds, because I’m partial to cashews myself
just almonds, its very strange
I’m allergic to a very popular fruit, and my allergy is fairly uncommon.
I also hate cilantro because I have that gene that makes it taste like soap.
I’ve only heard about it, never spoke to anyone who had it, do you taste it if it’s in tacos or something spicy? Dumb question probably but I’m embarrassingly curious about the answer
If there’s enough of it, I can taste it. It’s still unpleasant but I’ve gotten used to it.
Cilantro-soap gene haver here. For me, if you put just a bit on any dish, it is ruined.
Vegetarian. Would go vegan, but it takes a more principled person than myself, at least for now.
I would need to get some Bucket List Meals in me before I could go vegetarian, I would have too much regret otherwise
I’d say about 95% of what I eat is vegan. I started doing it for environmental reasons but after a while it was about animal welfare as well. I used to be a guy who’d say he’d never give up meat but it was so much easier than I thought.
The other 5% is vegetarian btw, no meat/fish/whatever
There’s the obvious self imposed diet, but I’m also allergic to a few things, like cashews.
