1 is basically a product of it’s time. The story is there but it’s very early 80s. I think Road Warrior gets more love just because it’s when we really get to see Miller’s vision of the wasteland. I’d like to see these both remade with the love of Fury Road and Furiosa but it will never happen.

I think Thunderdome is ok. It used to be my favorite but after doing a huge deep dive, I can see where people are coming from. You get this great aesthetic with Bartertown, then they had to add kids to the mix. I read that there was a push in the mid and late 80s to add more kid stuff to movies and that this is probably why. I’d like to see a soft reboot of Thunderdome though.

Furiosa(the movie) is basically the character’s coming of age story. If you like that idea and also the same set pieces and more of Fury Road you’ll dig it. I have a hard time deciding which I like more but also they work well as essentiall6 one long movie.

In the screenshot, it’s in a sort of “mini mode” and the side bar is the tab manager/etc. You can set both that and the url bar to hide and then show on mouse hover. It looks nice but when I was messing with it it feels like it adds more time in your workflow. You have to hover right at the edge too which is annoying to hit if you have your OS bar at top of screen and/or if you have multi monitors with one on the left, since the pressure point is right on the edge. I can see it working on maybe a laptop where screen real estate is a bigger deal though.

Imo, actually good coffee should be drank black, or with a little bit of cream(oat milk gang) for mouthfeel. But most coffee isn’t good so milk and sugar makes sense.

I used to have the energy to roast my own beans and do pour-overs. It was pretty hit and miss on how well I got the roast/grind but when I hit the right mark, it was fucking amazing. But like also fresh roasted tends to lose it’s luster after a few weeks and starts to taste like anything else you can just buy pre-ground at Walmart.

Honestly, you could just ask them. Let them know you hand out the medals for awards and put it to a vote if they mind it being an Order of Lenin medal or if they want something else or if they even care. That’s probably what I’d do. Maybe first let them know that the medals are meant as a just for fun thing.
