    yeah, Macron’s involvement has me suspicious

    to be fair, Lebanon has not been particularly stable for a long time (since its civil war, I’ve been told). Imperialists being the bloodthirsty wolves they are were just waiting for the moment to pounce. that is to say that it could have genuinely been an accident, and the imperialists were just waiting for something to happen, which in this case was a catastrophic explosion etc. etc…





  • somebody who desires a world in which nobody has to do any work. they think communism = no work, apparently.

    there are some good comments in this thread about them, but to add my thoughts I think you get anti-work people when they fail to attribute the tragedy of work in the present day to capitalism, and instead treat it as an issue inherent to all work.


  • I’m not sure if it’s strictly defined. the way I see it used is to describe an (online) trend of “cancelling” somebody for something bad that they have done. the idea is that when somebody is cancelled, they should no longer be treated positively, for example losing their celebrity status.
