There was a post about this on the Dutch socialist sub as well. I replied with a somewhat cynical comment on the war and a few people came out calling me an imperialist. Some other guy stood by my side and said that this isn’t imperialism and that he should read Lenin’s work.
The response was: ‘No, I’m not going to read a book!’

Unless that gas was huffable which I doubt natural gas is, that’s a shitty attempt at an analogy.
That sounds like the victim thanking the aggressor, in international politics, as it is an act of war against Germany and the rest of Europe for the destruction of Nord Stream 2.
