A subreddit comprised entirely of marxist-leninist maoist, these people deny all wrongdoings of the chinese communist party, the soviet union, the russian federation, etc. they either make shit up or claim it to be CIA propaganda. They are anti west despite residing in a western nation and have never even been to a communist nation. They also claim to be anti imperialist despite supporting the actions of russia and china. You will be permanently banned off the subreddit for even mentioning anything that goes against what they support or bringing up any of the ussr, china, or north korea’s atrocities. The members of r/genzedong are all delusional 14 year olds who have never seen the sun or have touched grass.

    Gets my head spinning the way westerners are empowered to speak so authoritatively from positions of such obvious ignorance. It starts with kids/teenagers saying shit like this and it just never gets challenged, they go on to be adults who speak this way about topics they havent investigated the very basic facts of and think they know the reality of just because they heard some buzzwords in a stupid youtube video or in the media.

    Even from a westoid viewpoint, what atrocities did the DPRK ever commit?! All I can think of is innumerable atrocities commited by the Japanese occupation, by the US forces invading the DPRK in 1950–1953, and how the west, ever since failing to defeat them, does everything in its power to hurt ordinary people living there with sanctions etc.
