The first mistake people make is thinking these games are representative of reality. You need to play them like games and minmax the shit out of them with no consideration for RP or historical accuracy. There’s guides out there on the best division templates to create and apparently with that you can quite easily win wars.
Eh, that’s only if you really want to conquer the world by 1938. You can play a long “historical” game too.
I’ve played games where I extremely rarely change unit templates or min max every single thing. Just do whatever I want and follow some basic guidelines to make it easier.
That is perfectly normal haha, it honestly takes dozens if not hundreds of hours before you even have a slight clue about what you’re doing. I highly recommend playing easy nations like the US or historical USSR with YouTube tutorials for your first few playthroughs.
