Comparing an island with a mainland rich city is like comparing Cuba to the US, oh wait libs already do

This. City more infrastructure than island.

      No shit.

Does the flair “Democracy will win 🇺🇲” refers to American atomic bombs?

Yes. They always thought that democracy is when “one person, one vote” but they now interpret it as one person because US bombs killed the rest.

Ok just gonna state the obvious here. 1.) Russia did not nuke Ukraine. 2.) Those pictures are not from mere days after nuclear disaster, they are many decades removed. 3.) America’s war crimes in Hiroshima and Nagasaki 100,000% had a worse impact. Like this is honestly so stupid. Why not post a picture of like Times Square Manhattan or Washington DC currently and be like “oh yea British attacks on the USA, but look how good it looks(ahem the attacks were 250 yrs ago but still) compared to this place that was shelled 20 goddamn minutes ago.” Probably the worst post I’ve seen in a minute lol

Also the picture at the bottom is south Sakhalin, which was occupied by Imperial Japan before and during WW2, and it was objectively much worse off under the Japanese than it had ever been under Russia, its telling that they don’t show before pictures

This argument does pop up from time to time among the anti-communists. I.e. comparing 1960’s Warsaw with current Warsaw (used to be very popular type of post on ar/Europe), or comparing pictures of modern day Berlin with 1990’s Moscow (with some Battle for Berlin period photos thrown in for good measure). It’s obvious propaganda, but it works

The picture of Sakhalin is land taken from Japan in WW2. It is/was basically an island without infrastructure, while the other 2 are/were cities.

So literally nothing changed in the pictures, it just modernized

Island less infrastructure than city. More news at 11.

Japan has very few non-mountainous land, they cant just waste what they have because it was once bombed
