Surfshark sides with the immortal science of juche
but also says hong kong is a country
what kind of ideology is this
Yeah it’s an oversight to be listing it under ‘countries’ but my city does have very different internet rules from the rest of the nation so it’s not too egregious to distinguish it in a VPN client.
But the fact is that if a VPN service doesn’t offer an endpoint in Mainland China, you know they’re on the side of Western ‘soft’ censorship.
It’s not an option in the actual SurfShark client.
And they removed Russia from their list of endpoints as well when the war kicked off. If they’ll make a change like that just for the performative solidarity imagine how surprised I’d be if they didn’t actually stand up to government demands for access.
Yeah, I figured that was the case. None the less I deemed it entertaining enough to post regardless.

Memes are fine, but Surfshark is not a truly private VPN. There are better VPNs that exist, like Mullvad, IVPN, OVPN, AirVPN, Windscribe and Cryptostorm.
The Liberal hypocrites can just frame the operation in North Korea as an activities that operates against the North Korean system just as they frame the embargo against North Korea as an isolation attempts by the Communist government in their scpaegoating and credit theft.
What’s the source for this graphic? I asked support and they said they don’t.
It was a sponsorship graphic from a Tomska video. https://youtu.be/mne9inpo-ZM?t=238
Costa Rica
Definitely Costa Rica, the white stripes are too wide and the blue dot in the middle is meant to resemble the Costa Rican emblem
That, and everything else is in alphabetical order, with the exception of Macau, and it’s firmly in the letter C group
LOL I’ve noticed this on youtube sponsorships too, I believe they just grabbed a bunch of flag graphics alphabetically
hmmm, Is it based? Has Juche server but implies Taiwan is a country.
Taiwan is still a place even if it isn’t a country. Showing a China flag for a Taiwan exit node is more misleading if you ask me, because you can’t use it to access whatever Chinese content you were looking for.
“Yes all the project data is on a DPRK server. Yes, it includes a .txt file stating “Take what you need comrades. Communism will win.”. Why do you ask?”
