      I would love to visit Belarus one day when it isn’t being threatened. Russia too (I plan on taking Russian when I do my masters). I would visit all the Soviet Union countries but most seemed to have been occupied by fascists.

      Isn’t the economy almost exactly like it was in the Soviet Union, just the people don’t own the means of production?

        IIRC definitely has “liberalized” significantly less than the ones NATO has on a leash, which of course is the economic cardinal sin to the West.

        It’s capitalist but with a strong presence of the state which is not afraid (read: not controlled by international financiere) to regulate things away from neoliberalism.
