Two points are important when analyzing what the Ukraine crisis does to the USA:

    1. Green line go up

    2. It is wide open to the world (except to the west) that the USA is weak, run by pussies and will throw anyone under the bus if that means the green line go up. The global south see this and will see massive revolutions continue and start in the coming years. I fully expect a global war by the end of the decade.

Ukraine caused them to fully isolate Russia. It should accelerate US decline.

Here is a very nice analysis by Michael Hudson on the matter.

This is shaping up to be a drawn-out crisis which will negatively affect most of the world. Unfortunately Russia will suffer badly. The only upside for Russia is that its opponents will be weakened while its partners have a chance of getting stronger and more independent. The prospects of the US and its allies of reversing their decline are NOT good.

As long as the war is going, liberals have a reason to be mad at Russia. And as long as they have a reason to be mad at Russia (and China, for that matter) they’ll have an incentive to support anything the US does to try to prolong its quickly fading lifespan. But, this will not stop the decline of the US empire, and might accelerate it instead. Either because the US can’t fight a war in Europe, and the political situation that would arise from that would be untenable. Or because liberals will be forced to vote in fascism if they believe a stronger US will be able to defend Europe from the geopolitical enemies.

As for now, both - USA clearly aimed to draw a clear new Iron Curtain for a current cold war with it, but apparently they misjudged and majority of world’s real economy is either against them or refusing to commit for them. On the other hand, those that went with it against their own interests, like EU, will serve as food for the imperialism to consume and prolong its existence.

Right now we see the struggle for global setup continues, similarily as Lenin described in “Imperialism…”. Much depend on resolution of conflict on Ukraine and EU ultimate stance on the sactions.

It will prop up the MIC for longer and also accelerate US’s decline as a nation.

    Accelerate its decline.

The US empire has fossil fuel issues, EU fossil fuels are in terminal decline. They both have a massive debt problem on their hands that they need to fix and then the US decides to start a war with Russia and have it’s most loyal EU allies to block their own imported fossil fuels coming from Russia? And the EU gladly accept this!?

And the expectation that Russians will go against Russia while blockading all Russians and stealing all their money is plainly insane.

All of their strategies are completely insane apart from ‘how to fool the public into supporting our war and surrender their money to us’.

That’s an empire in quick war decline. Even if it wins it’s war against Russia, which is very unlikely, it will be immediately faced with a weakened US and severely weakened EU.

The only part of the US Empire that matters is the military industrial complex and business for Raytheon/northrop Gunman etc is booming.
