American custom of walking in shoes in someone’s house always astounds me. Do filthy floors are this common there? Or maybe their feet hygiene is on nurgle level terrible?

Yes, filthy floors, everything is filthy. Watch a couple episodes of hoarders from A&E you can find on YouTube. Or look at Chris Chan’s house.

How would they not hear that? You’d be making a very obvious scraping noise as you walk.

Comrade Mao looking at this at first glance, “I thought I said no to that Foot-binding bullshit already!” Looks closer “OH HELL NO!”

    In 80’s movie trailer voice:

Opens to juche necromancer performing ritual.

With the power of the eternal science of Historical Dialectical Materialism

    Cuts to dak silhouette:

    He is coming back

Cuts to stock footage of housing crisis:

    For one last job!

Raging “Red Sun is in the Sky” starts playing. Title card shows:

    CHAIRMAN MAO

    Available this summer

    Last scene plays

Dark shadows of kneeling landlord getting his head bashed in by symbolic hammer.

    Mao says: Rent’s up!

    Cut to black

As if they even have to do something like that, landlords always come up with a bullshit reason to keep at least some of your deposit
