Because this country is liberal government EU bootlicking hellhole, that’s why. Vučić always talks and wants to play ‘‘both sides’’ bullshit, he goes: Russia this China that, but in the end he always ends up bootlicking EU and wanting to join so bad ignoring what people want. Don’t listen to government, listen to people, most people are pro-Russia and support our brothers!

I hope for the best for Serbia, Europe will probably slide into full Nazism again as their economic conditions worsen under the boot of US imperialism. Serbia may need to defend itself as it would be a likely target

I’m worried for my other home countries: Montenegro, Macedonia and Bosnia, Montenegro and Macedonia were occupied by North Atlantic Terrorist Organization because the mafia government in Montenegro and EU bootlicking government of Macedonia ignored the will of people who didn’t want to join. Bosnia is not in NATO, like Serbia, but is in hell nonetheless, again EU bootlicking government on one side, nationalists in Srpska with Dodik on the other side and of course fascists and neo nazis with monuments of Chetniks and other nazi collaborators, Serbia and Bosnia are full of monuments of nazi collaborators, like most of Eastern Europe! And the church is of course actively participating in rehabilitation of war criminals from WW2 and 1990s wars.

What are the approval ratings from the general population for these pro-eu liberal governments? Every time I watch interviews people are pissed that they were promised all these economic benefits from joining the EU but got none of them.

Majority dosn’t support EU and 81% says the collapse of Yugoslavia did more harm than good.

Serbia says it was blackmailed over UN vote

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has said that his country has been pressured under the threat of sanctions to back Russia’s suspension from the UN Human Rights Council.

Belgrade has close historical ties with Moscow but joined other Western nations this week in a vote against Russia in response to its ongoing military campaign in Ukraine. “Our initial decision was to abstain, but then we were subjected to countless and difficult pressure,” Vucic told RTS TV on Thursday.

Doesn’t the US have a track record of threatening/bribing other nations to get them to vote how they want them to? I think I read that somewhere and I’m curious if there’s any documentation about this, or how true it is.

Plenty to be encouraged by. Eurasia is entrenching itself as a new “pole” in the world, Africa looks poised to join them. The important thing in the coming years will be to navigate the economic warfare waged by the United States as it loses its grip on the world. The global south is already suffering as a result of the US war in Ukraine, and IMF, World Bank, and USAID loans will certainly begin to have stipulations banning trade with Russia and China. Hopefully Moscow and Beijing are well prepared to deal with this inevitability and the BRI is able to push back.

Vučić wants to pretend he’s Tito, so he’s trying to “both side” it. I mean HE says that “we were pressured” into signing it, but I somewhat doubt it.
