Don’t know about top 10, but to me the uncontested #1 is Che. His whole biography, his life’s work stands for itself. Liberation movements around the world to this day use his portrait as the symbol for resistance and the struggle for freedom. As he said, they killed the man, but his legacy and what he stood for is immortalized.

Also the fact his executor almost shat himself standing infront of Che and the madlad told him to stay calm and aim well. Afaik the guy even regretted killing him later. Like come on, how can a human being be this based and make such an impression on even his captors and executioners.

    #2 is Fidel, because Fidel.

Both, because the Cuban revolution is an absolute miracle, testament to the incredible spirit and competence of these guys and the Cuban people at large. Resisting the global hegemon on its doorstep for this long as such a tiny nation is fucking outrageous and remains an inspiration to revolutionaries around the world.

#3 Malcolm X. Not a communist, but fuck me that man is inspirational. Listening to his biography is legitimately the most incredible thing I’ve ever listened to or read. Partly, because the guy who reads it is stellar, but mostly because this mans life-story is almost too insane to have happened. It’s something straight out of a movie. His life before jail almost as much as the life after. Absolute giga chad. If you’ve never read it, get the audiobook right fucking now.

He hasn’t been mentioned yet but Eirch Honecker is a chad for standing up to Gorbachev’s revisionism despite the odds being so stacked against him. Stalin of course. Ho Chi Minh for defeating two imperialists back to back.
