          Yeah, they should change it to national flag, perfectly represents Finland and everyone forgot on which side they were in WW2…

        Soviet forces from Kalmykia wore the swastika, since they were Buddhist, and this was before it got appropriated by Nazism. After the war they dropped the symbol because of the association with the Nazis.

        Saying “They used it before” while ignoring the conditions that occurred during the war, is really downplaying it. If the Kalmyks could drop a sacred symbol because of the destruction they now associated it with, what bloody excuse do the Finns have?
