Thanks in advance and sorry for the realy strange english (I like it cause it is a bit like Marx’s , parentisis everywhere) Good day/night

It’s generally pretty shitty. In the US medical prices are inflated along with the need to buy medical insurance. So not only are certain things far more expensive in the US, but you also have to pay a service provider to save you money. So, if you need medical attention but you’re too poor for coverage, you’re not getting attention, which means hundreds - possibly thousands - die simply because they’re poor.

Yea that seems pretty shitty that sound just like a meme : In the U.S. very few people die in the hospital and that because they die in the streets cause they can’t aford the wee woo truck ride

My mom died indigent like this actually, fairly young a few years ago. Couldn’t afford medical care, let things get worse and worse, and had a heart attack while she was out running errands, which was probably avoidable if she had the problems diagnosed and medicated.

It’s really fucking depressing, but I like the meme about the person who ?got stuck under a subway train? and demanded that no one call 911 because they couldn’t afford an ambulance (you pay for the ambulance ride too, which can get expensive). It pretty well displays the state of US healthcare.

I’ve actually known people who were shot/stabbed and drove themselves to the hospital, because they knew the hospital bill was going to be exspensive as is. Its absolutely ridiculous.

What ?!? Is that even legal ? Because if you drive while losing blood you are pretty much as dangerous as drunk/sleepy/stoned people on the road lol

Shhh! Quiet or the lobbyists will hear you! They’ll pass the “Thrift in Medicine Act” and we’ll be required to call an ambulance if we have the sniffles.
