No wonder every bootlicker from left and right absolutely hates them. Every time i post something from them, someone would come at me, frothing their mouth, about “bad evil doubleplusungood source”, like a clockwork. Also always without any actual elaboration.

Yup, I’ve never seen anybody actually provide concrete examples of bad reporting from Grayzone.

“We are not CIA” “We are not CIA” “We are not CIA”

For someone who supposedly does not work with the CIA they seem strangely fixated on convincing of it, through little else than their own word.

There was a WaPo article from 1991 written by imperial court scribe Michael Itzikoff gloating about how wonderful it is that the NED exists to take over some important CIA programs. The first NED director himself also went on public record about how wonderful it is that the NED exists and can do overtly what the CIA had been doing covertly up until that point.

This woman is completely clueless. Sounds like she genuinely believes the organisation is what they claim to be while she is being kept in the dark about the inner workings.

I think its a front. She’s projecting this sort of persona on purpose, she is very careful with what she says, and dodges questions that she knows are not answerable. The NED works with plenty of “independent” news organizations, I bet she was hoping to try and get the Grayzone into their orbit somehow, but in this instance she was not expecting to be hit with this type of questioning.

If she was smart she would have simply not decided to get on a call with two journalists whose career is founded upon peering into the machinations of the US deep state. Claims like “NED is a CIA cutout” are incredibly easy to back up. If she had not been marinating in the kool aid of her own employer she would have known this.

This is a good point, but I would chalk it up to simply not having done enough research about the Grayzone, rather than calling in to defend the NED out of genuine belief borne from ignorance of the fact that its a CIA cutout.
