Hard to tell really. On one hand it does sound like that, on the other Poland have been saberrattling non stop always when PiS is in power, even when they were so weak as to bribe and steal parliamenterists from their own coalition parties, they were still blabblering about hegemony in central Europe.
Oh and they aren’t trying to remake commonwealth, they straight up look to Piłsudski and sanation fascism.

Damn it. Remaking the commonwealth would at least be looking back to something that was progressive in its time (by my understanding, anyway).
There’ve been some statements on the Ukrainian side about friendship and unity of Polish and Ukrainian peoples and stuff that smell of giving western Ukraine to Poland when NATO is sure the war is done. Maybe it’s that.
Sure as hell the decision will not be made in Kiev, not in Warsaw, not in Berlin, but in Washington.
At this point, I’m fully expecting Poland to enter the war. It’s become painfully obvious that the inevitabe Ukrainian defeat is utterly unacceptable for the West so we’re going to have to send in a fresh army.
Well, good luck with occupying Galicia, Poland. Who am I kidding the fascists will just collaborate.
