    an apartheid state who has terrible relations with all neighbors and is inexorably tied to a declining empire who sees you as a goon squad to deal with their geopolitical enemies, all for a few billion dollars a year in military equipment? It’s a bold move, cotton, let’s see how this plays out

      I mean Ukraine is basically all that already not counting Poland as neighbour but Poles hate Ukraine, they just hate Russia, bootlick USA and depend on Germany way more.

          That’s right, even after 1991, thing started to really change from what i seen after 2004 when Yushchenko kleptogovernment started openly provoke Russia.

    They tried being a big Israel for 8 years. The difference is Russia put a stop to their bullshit.

    Ukraine can’t lose fast enough or hard enough. Any remnant of this government or army will be an existential threat to peace around the globe.

    I wonder if the close association between aid and support for Israel and Ukraine coming from the US has made any radlibs reconsider supporting Ukraine. They’re very clearly tied together, along with Taiwan, and you’d think that would get some neurons firing.
