    It’s cringe when corporations try to jump on pop culture. It’s 1000x as cringe when countries try to do it

    What is supposed to achieve? I am so confused that not-country is so desperate for acceptance from a random anime fan despite having every major western power backing it. That’s when you know, even they realize they aren’t a real country.

    I accept the fact this shit government has a Twitter. I accept the fact it just responds to random people who didn’t mention it. I just barely accept this preposterous arrogation of elevating itself to intrude upon what is clearly the magisterium of the anime community and to ponder our matters, as if it were one among ourselves. What I cannot accept is that they decided to respond, but with a shrug. The darkest places in hell truly are reserved, as Dante Alighieri once put it, for those who remain neutral in times of moral crisis.
