Really shows how little they actually believe their own baseless claims. If they actually believed what they say, they wouldn’t be doing this.

I guess we can use their own anti-China propaganda against them then, when average people bring up “Zin-jang” we can mention how western capitalists governments are totally ok with anything horrific happening if they profit, turn it into an anti-capitalist discussion instead of an anti-China one (then tackle the anti-China brainworms at a later date)

They do believe it, but the economic interest is a higher priority.

Unfortunately, the damage has already been done. Despite plenty of evidence that these are baseless claims, ask the average westerner about this topic and they’ll say with certainty that it’s a genocide

This one will go down the same as “tinyman square” where even decades from now westerners will be insisting that an invisible genocide happened in China, hell, they might even make up a fictional ethnic group that they claimed China genocided just to dodge all of those awful “fact” and “reality” things.

Anyone who actually believes in the “China is running concentration camps out of Xinjiang” narrative is a fucking moron. The ruling class couldn’t be more upfront that they don’t believe it themselves.

Also, you would think a region once plagued by unrest and terrorism (fomented by our favorite imperialist power of course), now stable and prospering would be cause for celebration? No? Also about NEV subsidies, isn’t this what all countries should be doing? Besides, the Global North has long subsidized industries when they chose to.
